The wide-opening line of the range

The 40 is the new-minimalism line of our sliding doors. It is built for openings where one sash would get too wide and the frame should stay quiet: the sight-lines thin, the glass field grows, and the door reads as a single continuous line when closed.

The tri-synchronous layout is the signature of this series: three panels on one head track, opening and closing in sync. Everything on this page is from the production catalogue; the dimensional pack and the hardware layout ship with the quotation.

Key features

Four things it brings to the opening

01Tri-synchronous three-sashThe 40 line carries a three-sash layout in which all three panels open and close in sync, so a wide opening clears in one motion while the closed face stays a single continuous line.
026063-T5 primary aluminiumThe frame is extruded in 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the same grade as the window line: high toughness, high strength, and resistant to splitting along the whole frame.
0345-degree mitered cornersEach corner is mitered at 45 degrees, keeping the face clean and the frame line straight from the top rail down to the floor.
04Stainless-steel railThe sashes ride on a stainless-steel rail: wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, strong on load, and the panels stay on line across the full travel.

Profile & engineering

The frame is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the same grade the window range is extruded in: high toughness, high strength, and resistant to splitting. Corners are mitered at 45 degrees, so the face stays clean and the joint runs straight from the top rail to the floor.

The section drawings show the sash groups hanging from the head track and the two-panel assembly across a wall opening. The rail is stainless steel, which carries the sash load, shrugs off wear and corrosion, and keeps the panels on line over the full travel. Every sash ships with automotive-grade tempered glass, adding sound insulation, thermal comfort and safety; frosted, reeded, fluted and diamond-pattern units, plus grille and decorative inlays, go in the same frame.

Configurations

Two-panel is the standard layout for interior and patio openings. Four-panel suits wide dining and living-room fronts where a single sash would get heavy. The tri-synchronous three-sash layout clears the whole opening in one motion. Panel widths, glass build-up and rail height are quoted against the opening.

Finishes

Six catalogue finishes are standard: jazz black, jazz snow white, porcelain silver grey, jazz nitrogen-carbon grey, jazz moonlight grey and cream grey. RAL equivalents and two-tone exterior/interior combinations are confirmed against physical swatches on request.

FAQ

Asked on every 40 series project

What is the 40 new-minimalism sliding door?

It is the wide-opening line of our sliding doors: a slim-frame horizontal slide on 6063-T5 primary aluminium with a stainless-steel rail, and a tri-synchronous three-sash layout that clears the opening in one motion.

How does the tri-synchronous layout work?

Three panels ride one head track and open and close in sync, so a wide opening clears as a single motion. The closed face stays one continuous line, per the catalogue layout.

How is it different from the 35X16?

The 35X16 is the ultra-narrow line; the 40 is the new-minimalism line that adds the tri-synchronous three-sash layout and four-panel openings. Both share 6063-T5 aluminium, 45-degree mitered corners and a stainless-steel rail.

What glass can go in the sashes?

Automotive-grade tempered clear glass is standard. The catalogue also carries frosted, reeded, fluted and diamond-pattern units, plus grille bars and decorative inlays in the same frame.

Which finishes are standard?

Six: jazz black, jazz snow white, porcelain silver grey, jazz nitrogen-carbon grey, jazz moonlight grey and cream grey. RAL equivalents and two-tone combinations are confirmed on request.

Can we get samples before ordering?

Yes. A profile set and a finished test door are available on request; lead time is confirmed with the enquiry.
