Electric Automatic Aluminium Sliding Door
An automatic glass sliding system that parts on an induction signal, made for wide entrance fronts.
ELECTRIC RESPONSIVE DOOR · application scenes
An induction-opened glass front
The Electric Responsive Door is an automatic sliding system. Its leaves run on a head track and open on an induction signal, so a wide glass front parts on its own with no hand on it. The catalogue scene places the door at an office threshold, where a mullioned glass wall stands between the entrance and a working interior, and a wall panel beside the frame carries the controls. Because the leaves travel sideways, the entrance clears without a swing, which leaves the floor around the opening free.
Everything on this page comes from catalogue page 067: the scene, the head rail, the glazed leaves and the wall panel. Dimensions, leaf count and the drive set are quoted against the opening.

How the door is put together
The frame is a slim aluminium mullion system in a dark tone, drawn with full-height glass leaves, so the opening still reads as one glazed wall while the door is shut. The door range is extruded in 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the grade the catalogue names across the window and door lines and selects for toughness, strength and resistance to cracking. Glazing is full-height clear glass in the catalogue scene, which keeps the sight line from the entrance into the room open.
The head rail runs above the leaves and carries the sensing unit, seen in the scene as the recessed element over the glass. Leaf widths, panel count and glass build-up are quoted against the opening.
Where the series fits
The catalogue shows the series at a commercial entrance, which is where an induction slider earns its place. Staff and visitors cross a wide opening through the day, the glass keeps the frontage light, and the leaves never swing into the path of traffic. The same system suits hotel lobbies, showrooms and clinic or office partitions, where a glass wall should open on approach and stay clear of the way once it has.
Because the door is driven rather than pushed, the layout around the opening can stay tight, and the frontage can carry more glass than a hinged leaf of the same width.
Finishes and options
This catalogue page prints a single rendering and carries no colour card or RAL list for the series, so the finish is confirmed against the catalogue and physical samples on request rather than read from this page. The frame sits as a dark tone in the scene and the glazing is clear. Two-tone exterior and interior combinations and RAL equivalents are quoted per project, on the same basis the rest of the door range uses.
OEM & project supply
The electric sliding door is supplied on the same OEM basis as the rest of the door range: private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers. A profile set can be sampled before a project commits, and the drive and controls are specified against the opening. Send the opening size, the leaf layout and the destination market, and the quotation returns with the full dimensional pack and the electrical detail for the drive set.

FAQ
Asked on every Electric series project
What is the electric responsive door?
It is an automatic sliding system in the Adam Alux door range: full-height glass leaves on a head track that open on an induction signal, shown in the catalogue at an office entrance.
How does the door open?
The leaves slide sideways on the head rail once the sensing unit reads an approach, so the opening clears with no swing. The catalogue scene shows the head-rail sensing unit and a wall control panel beside the frame.
What is it made of?
A slim aluminium mullion frame with full-height clear glass leaves. The door range is extruded in 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the grade the catalogue names for toughness, strength and resistance to cracking.
Which finishes are offered?
The catalogue page for this series prints no colour card, so finishes are confirmed against the catalogue and physical samples on request. RAL matching and two-tone frames are quoted per project.
Where is it normally used?
At commercial and office entrances, hotel lobbies and showrooms, and as a glass partition where a wide frontage should open on approach and stay out of the way.
Can it be sampled before ordering?
Yes. A profile set is available on request, and the drive and controls are specified against the opening, with lead time confirmed with the enquiry.
