118 SIX CHAMBER THERMAL-BREAK CASEMENT WINDOW 2.0 · application scenes

The flagship casement

The 118 series is the flagship of the Adam Alux window range: a six-chamber thermal-break casement window at 118 mm depth with 2.0 mm wall thickness. It is specified for the largest casement lights in the product line and for facades that take full weather exposure.

It carries the full feature set of the thermal-break family, tuned for the largest module in the range.

Built-in features

Eight features, standard on the line.

  • 016063-T5 A-grade primary aluminium · high strength, high crack resistance
  • 02Multi-chamber profile body: layered sound insulation, thermal blocking, higher pressure resistance
  • 035 mm insulating glass with integrated bent spacer bars
  • 04Thermal-break design forming an effective cold/hot bridge barrier, cutting overall energy use
  • 05High-transparency, rust- and corrosion-resistant insect screen · better daylight, stronger insect protection
  • 06EPDM foam gaskets, aging-resistant, raising the sealing and water-tightness grades
  • 07Drainage design for fast water discharge and easy cleaning
  • 08Low-profile glazing bead resists dust build-up, widens the sightline and lifts the wind-load index

Profile & engineering

Six chambers and a 2.0 mm wall give the 118 the highest section stiffness in the casement range. Standard insulating glass is 5 mm-27 A-5 mm, and the wider glazing bead keeps the sight-line narrow even across large lights. The series includes the family feature set: integrated bent spacers, EPDM foam sealing, high-transparency insect screen, open drainage and multi-point locking. Where a project needs a casement that opens wider than the 110 or 112 lines comfortably do, the 118 is the line to specify.

Where it performs

High-end residential towers, penthouse and lake-view buildings, exposed coastal and high-altitude facades, and projects where the single-light size is the constraint. OEM partners building a premium window line also start from this series.

Finishes & customisation

The widest standard colour set in the range: sand grey, coffee and metallic grey across exterior and interior faces, with two-tone combinations and RAL matching on the thermal-transfer line.

OEM & project supply

The full OEM programme applies as standard: private-label packing, project documentation, export-standard containers. Profile samples and a finished test window are available before commit, and the quotation ships with the complete dimensional and hardware-layout pack.
