Metal fire doors
A metal fire door is read on its face as much as on its schedule. The metal fire rated line is a steel door drawn for industrial and public openings: plant rooms, stairwells, service cores and back-of-house corridors where the leaf takes a knock and still has to latch. The catalogue marks the line at 20, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. Two builds are shown, one an all-metal leaf worked with a panic bar, the other a steel frame carrying a wooden leaf.
Both are aimed at the same kind of opening and the same kind of traffic.

Leaf and face
The metal leaf is a steel panel over a stiffened core, brought to colour by powder coat. The catalogue illustrates the face for three properties: fire resistance, impact resistance and erosion resistance. Colour is quoted to order, so the same leaf sits on a blue service wall or a neutral plant-room wall. Frame and leaf are cut square and either welded or knocked down, whichever the site prefers. The wooden-leaf variant keeps the steel frame but takes the laminate, HPL and veneer faces of the timber range, which lets a specifier hold one frame across a mixed schedule.
Frame families
The catalogue draws two frame families. Knock-down frames ship flat and bolt together on site, in a standard section and a drywall section. Welded frames arrive assembled, in a face-welded and a full-profile welded option. A knock-down frame suits a container and a tight delivery access; a welded frame suits a masonry or cast opening where the frame is set before the wall closes. Anchor type, packer detail and fixing are confirmed against the wall build-up on the drawing set.
Certification and rating
Fire evidence is listed the same way across the range. The catalogue names AS 1905.1:2015 and AS 1530.4:2014, EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 and CAN/ULCS104, with UL listing and the Intertek, CE, BS, IAS, FSC and HKAS marks. Ratings are marked at 20, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. The leaf, the frame and the ironmongery are certified as one assembly, so a specifier can carry a single test reference into the schedule instead of building one from parts.
Project supply
The metal range is offered on an OEM basis with export packing and project documentation. A finished sample leaf and a cut profile go out before a project commits. Send the opening size, the wall type, the panic-bar handing and the destination market, and the quotation returns with the dimensional pack and the fire certificate set.
