The M-24 is the off-axis pivot door of our entrance collection. Leaf, pivot and frame

The leaf is built on a 3 mm aluminium alloy profile, catalogued at more than 80 per cent higher hardness than a common aluminium profile. The pivot sits off the leaf axis, which lets the leaf clear its own jamb and keeps the entrance free of a side-hinge line.

The catalogue pairs the leaf with a sealing system along the frame-to-sash joint. Four special seal strips close that joint, and an automobile-grade seal strip is catalogued to cut noise by more than 90 per cent. The leaf build and the pivot position are quoted against the opening.

Catalogue ratings

Four figures are printed on the catalogue spreads. Sound insulation is rated at 42 dB, reached through a layered leaf and a multi-layer cut-off of reflected sound. Water tightness is rated Class 3, combining water blocking, drainage and anti-backflow details with the seal strips. Heat conduction is catalogued as cut by more than 70 per cent through the broken-bridge build and its insulation infill. These are the published catalogue ratings; the figures for an installed opening follow its own size and build-up.

The series also carries five performance indicators: thermal insulation, water tightness, air tightness, wind resistance and sound insulation. The catalogue states that these five standards are set above the industry benchmark.

Six smart entry functions are catalogued for the series: wireless remote, an app system, video surveillance, a door opening system, a security system and a defence system. They are presented as a set that can be specified with the leaf, so the entrance is opened, watched and alarmed from one place.
