Fire doors for guest floors
A guest-floor door is a working door and a life-safety component in the same panel. This series is drawn as a single-leaf fire door for hotel and apartment openings, where the leaf has to swing shut quietly behind a guest and still hold its rating in a fire. The catalogue marks the series at 20, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. Each unit arrives as a complete set: leaf, frame, closer and ironmongery specified together, so the assembly on site is the assembly that was tested.
The application line reads hotel and apartment, which is where the series is shown across the brochure.

Leaf construction
The leaf is a wooden build. Finishes run to laminate, HPL and wooden veneer, with a solid-colour laminate and lacquer route offered on part of the range. Behind the face the catalogue names a B1 flame-retardant board over a honeycomb core, a light sandwich that keeps a wide leaf flat. One model in the range takes a steel frame under the same wooden leaf, which suits an opening where the frame has to hold a heavier door-stop load. Pockets for the hinges and the lock are cut in the factory, so the leaf hangs square on site.
Fire certification
The fire performance is carried by accredited test evidence. Compliance is listed to AS 1905.1:2015 and AS 1530.4:2014 for the Australian market, to EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 for Europe and to CAN/ULCS104 for North America, with UL listing alongside. The marks shown in the brochure include Intertek, CE, BS, IAS, FSC, HKAS and JAS-ANZ. Fire-rated labels across the frame and the leaf are marked 20, 45, 60 and 90 minutes. The certificate set travels as a scanned pack with the quotation.
Hardware and closing
Hotel traffic falls on the hardware, so the schedule is built around it. The catalogue shows a concealed closer at the head, a fire-certified viewer and a fire-certified electronic lock, with heavy-duty hinges, a latch and a lever handle on the standard list. Smoke and draught control are handled by an intumescent strip set into the frame and a fire-rated door bottom. The leaf hangs on three hinges in the drawings, which keeps a tall guest-room door from dropping at the lock stile.
Project supply
The hotel fire door ships on an OEM basis: private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers. A finished sample door and a cut profile go out before a project commits. Send the opening schedule, the wall type and the destination market, and the quotation returns with the dimensional pack, the hardware schedule and the fire certificate set.
