Aluminium Flush Panel Garage Door

Flat panels in one plane, with a glass-light option set into the layout.

ALUMINIUM FLUSH PANEL GARAGE DOOR

A flush face in one plane

The flush panel garage door is built from flat panels set in a single plane. There is no raised relief and no stepped panel, so the front reads as one calm surface. That plain face suits a modern house, a rendered facade or a garage that sits under a clean horizontal roof line, where a segmented or moulded face would look busy. The leaf is drawn from the section set, and the panel split is taken from the opening size rather than trimmed on site.

The views on this page are catalogue design renderings. They show the panel rhythm and the face direction; the section drawings hold the member sizes.

Panels at one level

Every panel on the flush door sits at the same level, and the joints between panels run in a straight, even line across the leaf. That single plane is what separates this face from the raised and grille ranges: there is no depth in the face to catch shadow, so the door holds one even tone from edge to edge. The face frame is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, extruded in-house, and the panel joints are set from the opening so the split lands cleanly rather than at a random point.

Glass-light option

A glass-light panel can be set into the layout when a project wants daylight inside the garage. The glazed panel is placed within the flush face, so the door keeps its flat character while one or more sections let light through. Because the glazed panel is part of the panel layout, its size and position are quoted against the opening, and the face around it stays flush. This is the practical choice for a dark garage that still wants a clean, unbroken front from the street.

OEM and project supply

Flush doors come through the same OEM route as the window range: private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers. Because the leaf is built to the opening from our own extrusion, a bespoke panel split or a glazed layout can be quoted from a drawing. Send the opening size, whether a glass light is wanted and the destination market. The reply sets out the panel split and, where a glazed section is included, its size and position in the layout. A panel and profile sample is available before the order is confirmed, and the finish is matched to a physical swatch rather than to a screen. A plain leaf and a glazed leaf share the same panel system, so a mixed run of doors on one site keeps a consistent front from the street and the installer works from one set of member sizes. The leaf is packed flat to protect the face in transit and to keep container volume down.

FAQ

Asked on every garage door project

What does a flush panel face look like?

The face is built from flat panels set in one plane, with no raised relief, so the front reads as one calm surface.

Can the door take a window?

Yes. A glass-light panel can be set into the layout, so light comes into the garage while the rest of the face stays flush.

Which alloy is the frame made from?

The leaf frame is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, extruded on our in-house line and run through the same finishing shop as the window range.

Is the panel split fixed?

No. The panel split is set from the opening size and can be quoted from a drawing.

Which settings suit this door?

It suits modern houses, rendered facades and clean horizontal frontages where an even, plain face is wanted.

Is the flush door available for OEM supply?

Yes. Private-label packing and project documentation run with every flush order, packed to the export container standard.
