Salt at the coast
Mombasa and Lamu put salt into the air, and a window a few streets from the channel sees it settle on the glass within a week. Fluorocarbon is the finish that holds, quoted with stainless steel track and EPDM foam gaskets. On the highland side anodising does the job, and thermal transfer wood grain suits the stone and timber facades common in Nairobi.
Series for Kenyan openings
The 50 series casement window covers most residential openings on a 50 mm frame with a 1.2 mm wall, 5-20 A-5 glass and a high-transparency insect screen as standard. Wider living-room fronts take the 110 series casement window, five chambers in a 1.4 mm wall, or the 95 series sliding window where the light runs long and low. The 35x16 slim sliding door handles a balcony edge.
Mombasa, Lamu and the container
Both ports take FCL containers, and the packing plan differs by route, because a Mombasa shipment runs a short sea leg and a Lamu one transfers on the coast. Every quotation carries a PDF dimension pack with CAD drawings on request, and a sample profile or a finished test door can be sent before the order. Lead times are confirmed with the quotation.

Usually not. Highland work at 1,700 m sits in mild air, so single glass on a sheltered face is comfortable and cheaper. The coast needs the insulating unit for the humidity and the cooling load, and 5-20 A-5 is the standard build. Splitting the schedule by city costs nothing at quotation.
Which series fits a Kenyan apartment block?
