A window bound for Makassar may change ships twice before it reaches site, and each transfer is another chance for a frame to take a knock through the carton. Humidity does the slower work, sitting in the seal, the drainage channel and the finish until something gives. Air that never dries out
Year-round humidity is the ordinary condition across the archipelago, and it changes what a window has to do. Water that sits in a sill becomes a problem within a season, so drainage is open and self-cleaning on every series and the gasket is EPDM foam, which does not hold water the way a sponge strip does. Anodising and fluorocarbon both hold up in that air, and the profiles are extruded in house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium.
Volcanic dust and coastal salt
Volcanic dust settles on everything after an eruption and works into window tracks as grit. Coastal districts add salt spray, and the two wear a coating from opposite directions. Rollers on the 95 series sliding window run on ball bearings in a stainless track, which keeps grit from stalling a leaf. Fluorocarbon on sea-facing elevations and a wider track clearance are quoted per project.
Series for Indonesian openings
The 50 series casement window covers bedrooms and living rooms on a 50 mm frame with 5-20 A-5 insulating glass and a high-transparency insect screen as standard. Larger openings take the 110 series casement window, five chambers and a 1.4 mm wall. Balcony fronts run to the 95 series sliding window or the 35x16 slim sliding door, where a narrow frame suits a small terrace.
Packing for two or three ships
Inter-island transhipment is the part of the route a factory can control, and it shows in the carton. Corner protection, timber bracing inside the container and a moisture barrier around the frames are standard on Indonesian orders, and cartons are marked for the final site. Shipments leave through Tanjung Priok or Surabaya as FCL containers.

What paperwork comes with an Indonesian order?
The certificate we can send is a CE attestation to EN 14351-1, no. M.2024.206.C101817, issued by UDEM. Indonesian import documents, local marking and product registration sit with the importer. Nothing beyond that CE attestation is claimed, so the drawings and the quotation carry the specification.
Which series is standard for Indonesian housing?

Does humidity change the glass choice?

How do you stop mould at the drainage channel?
Open, self-cleaning drainage lets water run out instead of pooling behind a lip, and the EPDM foam gasket does not absorb water. Sloped sill sections and a finish that resists salt both help on the coast. Cleaning the track at the start of the wet season is the habit that keeps it working.
Can the packing survive inter-island transfer?
It is built for it. Frames travel with corner protection and timber bracing, a moisture barrier wraps the bundle, and cartons are marked for the final site so a transfer port does not re-sort them by guesswork. The packing plan is agreed with the order.
