Aluminium Sliding Interior Door
The space-saving interior leaf: a slim aluminium frame that travels along the wall instead of swinging into the room.
ALUMINIUM SLIDING INTERIOR DOOR
An interior leaf for tight floor plans
Aluminium sliding interior doors are made for rooms where a swinging leaf would eat the floor space: bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and laundry rooms. The leaf travels on a top-hung track and parks beside the wall, so the opening stays clear and the planned furniture layout keeps its full run.\n\nThe range is built around a slim aluminium frame with a large glazed panel. Two leaves are the common arrangement for a single doorway; where the wall run allows, a wider opening takes more panels on the same head rail. Frame, glass and hardware are specified against the opening, and the finished door ships as a complete unit.

6063-T5 primary aluminium
The frames are extruded in-house from 6063-T5 primary aluminium, the same grade used across the Adam Alux window and door range. That grade is chosen for toughness, strength and crack resistance, and because it carries an even anodised or powder finish on a thin interior section.\n\nThe glazed panel sits in the aluminium frame with the same gasket and bead detail used on our exterior glass doors, so a pane can be replaced later without a special order. Track, carrier and stops are matched to the leaf weight quoted for the project.
Finishes and the catalogue lineup
The catalogue lineup table covers around 24 frame and finish combinations across the interior range, grouped into black, wood-grain, light (off-white), red and white frames. Black and wood grain carry a warm-room look; the light and white finishes read clean against tiled bathroom and laundry walls; a red frame gives one accent leaf in a plain room.\n\nThe finishes are applied in-house, so one building can standardise a single frame colour across sliding and hinged leaves, and the two leaf styles then sit together in one corridor without a colour mismatch.
Where the sliding leaf fits
A sliding leaf suits a wall run that can accept the parked panel. On a bathroom or laundry doorway it keeps a small footprint and leaves the opening clear; on a bedroom or dining opening a wider multi-panel scene reads as a glazed divider that can still be closed. Where the wall run is short, the hinged interior door in this range uses the same frame family and finish, so the two leaf styles can be mixed on one project and shipped together.
OEM and project supply
Sliding interior doors ship under the same OEM terms as the window range: private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers. Send the opening size, the leaf count and the room list for each floor, and the quotation comes back with the frame schedule and the finish reference. A profile set and a finished test leaf are available as samples before an order is committed.

Asked on every interior door project
Which rooms is the sliding interior door made for?
Bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and laundry rooms. The leaf parks along the wall, so a doorway with little floor space in front of it stays usable.
What is the frame made of?
The frame is 6063-T5 primary aluminium, extruded in-house on the same line as the Adam Alux window and door range.
Which frame finishes are available?
The catalogue lineup table groups black, wood-grain, light (off-white), red and white frames, covering around 24 frame and finish combinations across the interior range.
How many leaves can one opening take?
Two leaves are the standard arrangement for a single doorway. A wider wall run takes more panels on the same head rail, and the leaf count is quoted against the opening.
Do you supply the sliding interior door under OEM terms?
Yes. Private-label packing, project documentation and export-standard containers are available, the same as the window range. Samples are offered before commit.

More from the interior range
Both interior door lines, with the catalogue frame lineup, are grouped in the interior hub.
